About Al-Birr
Established in Mumbai, Maharashtra, "Al Birr Socio Religious Trust" is a well-known and respected organisation that has been actively engaged in various Da'wah (propagation), reform, and social services for many years across different regions and provinces. The organisation has several branches operating in their respective areas.
In the current circumstances, we are all somewhat aware of the hatred and prejudice being spread in the hearts and minds of our fellow citizen in the name of religion. A media campaign has been launched against Islam and Muslims, creating a sense of urgency for us to fulfill our responsibility. Our timely response should be to introduce non-Muslims to the virtues and beauty of Islam. We must strive to dispel the propaganda and misconceptions spread by the media regarding Islam, the Qur'an, the Prophet of Islam, and Muslims, so that the doubts and suspicions in the minds of non-Muslims can be cleared and the effects of hatred and prejudice reduced.
Alhamdulillah (All praise be to Allah), Al-Birr, along with a team of scholars and Da'ees (preachers), has been working for almost 17 years at both individual and collective levels. Using social media, modern communication tools, Islamic literature, and social work, they have been spreading Islam's message of peace and humanity to the best of their ability. The goal is for people to understand Islam’s true message and be drawn closer to it, fostering an environment of tolerance and brotherhood among people of all faiths and backgrounds based on shared human values. People should become acquainted with the pure teachings of Islam that promote humanity and respect for human dignity.
The only way to counter Islamophobia and the growing trend of hatred is to spread Islamic teachings so that an atmosphere of peace, safety, and human kindness can flourish through wisdom. People need to realize that Islam is the savior and mercy for all of humanity.
Allah Almighty says: "Call people to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching, and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious." (Surah An-Nahl: 125)
Al-Birr’s Vision

We all are Slaves on Duty: Our Mission is to fulfill the obligatory duty of Dawah by conveying the pure and pristine message of Islam to masses in Mumbai and also try to counter the ever increasing misunderstanding and misconceptions about Islam.
The core activities of Al-Birr Socio Religious Trust is conveying the message of Islam to Non-Muslim and for doing the same we are printing the meanings of the Glorious Qur’an and Islamic literature based on the authentic sources of Islamic teaching and serving the community by presenting true picture of Islam.
